I remember at eleven years visiting the Canadian Vimy Memorial with my family and as my father visited graves and wept, I was unaware of his grief while looking up skyward frozen with fascination of the figurative carvings on the monument .In reflection, twas a life pivotal moment setting me on my course. Chosen out of my sisters to work in my Dad's wet lab, my job was to time the developer and move prints into the fixer and stop trays. I enjoyed watching images of faces I did not know and imaging stories about their lives but young I didn't recognize another push into the creative life until art school where I found my people. ...
