Saskatoon artist Grant McConnell studied at Mount Allison University in Sackville, New Brunswick, and at the University of Saskatchewan where he received an MFA. He is known primarily for his acrylic on wood painting drawn from a life-long interest in subject matter related to the historical and the political. Our apprehension of beauty and truth from all things grand, and mundane, drives his varied artistic practice.
