Paulette Melanson is an artist who paints abstracts and landcapes. She lives in Lunenburg, a UNESCO World Heritage site in Nova Scotia, Canada.
A resident of Nova Scotia since 1985, Paulette Melanson grew up in the Acadian village of Scoudouc, New Brunswick where the family home was surrounded by farmland and forest. Early exposure to nature and science influences her work. Paulette’s art journey began early and finally came to fruition in a roundabout way by working in several unrelated fields while pursuing art education and making art whenever time permitted. She now has a fulltime art practice in the town of Lunenburg. "My medium is acrylic, watercolour and paper collage.
